The Government, local authorities and even energy suppliers all provide grants specifically designed to help you introduce energy saving measures into your home.
The UK Government:
The UK Government offers a grant of up to £2,700 through a number of schemes. The schemes will vary depending on where you are in the UK.

Under the Government's new 'Carbon Emission Reduction Target', or 'CERT', legislation, energy suppliers with a certain number of customers throughout the UK are obligated to achieve targets for improving energy efficiency in the home. As a result, many suppliers have a great range of offers which significantly reduce the cost of installing energy efficient products.
What's more, you can take advantage of these offers from any energy company, no matter who currently supplies your gas and electricity.

In a bid to encourage local residents to improve the energy efficiency of their homes, most local authorities offer grants for installing energy efficient products. The amount you are eligible to receive may vary according to where you live in the UK.
